A year has passed since this project began.
A food blog aimed at inspiring young adults to learn and educate themselves in the "ancient art of cooking." As I moved into my old dorm room, I knew I was going to have to be innovative about cooking.
With the way my mother and father raised me (cooking homemade meals from scratch) cafeteria food just wasn't really an option. Therefore, I outfitted it with some small kitchen appliances that I got while working at Sur La Table.
My blog now stands as proof that if I can make these things in my DORM, you certainly can in your apartment kitchen, your house, or where ever you live.
The importance of being my own ingredient when I am with my friends. Cinnamon doesn't try to compete with Cayenne. It's impossible. So why should I try to be someone I am not?
So here is who I am:
I am a daughter, sister and friend.
I am a teacher.
I love action, in every motion of the word.
I love to learn, so that I have something to give the world.
I love caring for my body with kind ingredients and nutritious food.
My hands are made for work, so it is important that I hone their skills.
This blog will continue, and as it does, it will grow and mature just as I have.
Another year awaits - with more adventures and more lessons to learn. So let's take the bite together!
